DVAL Enable Signal

The Camera Link Data Valid enable signal - DVAL - is delivered by the camera to qualify the Camera Link clock cycles.

A DVAL high state indicates a Camera Link clock cycle where data is transmitted.
A DVAL low state indicates a Camera Link clock cycle where no data is transmitted.
NOTE: The DVAL signal is typically used by low-speed cameras having pixel rates below 20 MHz (the lower limit of the Camera Link clock frequency).

Horizontal Active Window with DVAL gating1

When enabled, this feature restricts the data acquisition to Camera Link clock cycles with DVAL = 1.

NOTE: When DVAL gating is enabled, only Camera Link cycles with DVAL = 1 are taken into account for the size of the active window!
