DVAL Enable Signal
The Camera Link Data Valid enable signal - DVAL - is delivered by the camera to qualify the Camera Link clock cycles.
● | A DVAL high state indicates a Camera Link clock cycle where data is transmitted. |
● | A DVAL low state indicates a Camera Link clock cycle where no data is transmitted. |
NOTE: | The DVAL signal is typically used by low-speed cameras having pixel rates below 20 MHz (the lower limit of the Camera Link clock frequency). |
Horizontal Active Window with DVAL gating1
When enabled, this feature restricts the data acquisition to Camera Link clock cycles with DVAL = 1.

NOTE: | When DVAL gating is enabled, only Camera Link cycles with DVAL = 1 are taken into account for the size of the active window! |
